David Goldfinger

David is a researcher in the Kovac Lab, working on instrumentation development for the BICEP Array telescope at the South Pole.  His graduate school work focused on the integration and testing of hardware for the Micro-X sounding rocket borne X-ray microcalorimeter, culminating in its first flight, along with analysis of microcalorimeter data for indirect dark matter searches. 

Undergraduate degree in physics from Washington University in St. Louis 2013, PhD in physics from MIT received in 2020.
