About

My research involves the use of large numerical simulations to study cosmological structure formation and galaxy evolution in the context of different models for dark matter and dark energy. I am particularly interested in confronting the predictions of theoretical models with the ever-increasing of volume of high precision observational data that will be made available by current and upcoming surveys. I am also interested in adding to the ‘realism’ of semi-analytic and hydrodynamical models of galaxy formation through the inclusion of ‘new’, small-scale physics.
