About
Alexia Simon is a PhD student in the Department of Astronomy at Harvard University, advised by Karin Öberg. Alexia is interested in studying the chemistry of protoplanetary disks for planet formation, using astrochemical ices realized in the laboratory. Laboratory work consists in mimicking the processes of interstellar ices in the cold regions of the protoplanetary disk or interstellar medium. Previous work involved laboratory experiments to better understand diffusion and entrapment in interstellar ices.
Master in Chemistry, Sorbonne University, Paris V (2018)
