glue
glue is an open-source Python package used to explore relationships within and between related datasets. Designed from the ground up to be applicable to a wide variety of data, glue is being used on astronomy data of star forming-clouds, medical data including brain scans, and many other kinds of data.
With glue, users can create a variety of data displays (including scatter plots, histograms, tables and 2D and 3D images). glue is focused on the brushing and linking paradigm, where selections in any graph propagate to all others. Designed from the ground up to be applicable to a wide variety of data, glue is being used on astronomy data of star forming-clouds, medical data including brain scans, and many other kinds of data. As the exploratory data visualization environment underlying NASA's James Webb Space Telescope mission, glue has been generously supported by NASA, and extensions to glue beyond JWST needs are supported by the National Science Foundation.
