CfA Announces Free On-Line Course on Frontiers of Physics

"Physics for the 21st Century," a free, on-line course developed at the CfA about current research in physics is now available. It consists of eleven units that introduce cutting-edge topics from the basic building blocks of matter, to gravity and other fundamental interactions, atomic-scale physics, and cosmology. The goal is to make recent advances in the field accessible to anyone with an inquisitive mind, including undergraduates, teachers, and
the general public.

Produced in cooperation with Annenberg Media by the CfA's Science Education Department, under the leadership of Matthew H. Schneps and Alex Griswold, it was designed by CfA's Christopher Stubbs and features CfA scientists Doug Finkbeiner and Robert Kirshner. Visit the course website at:
