About
Dr. Patrick Tamburo received his Ph.D. in Astronomy from Boston University in 2023. His research interests include the detection and characterization of transiting exoplanets around very low-mass stars and brown dwarfs. His work at the CfA centers around the Tierras Observatory, a 1.3-m telescope atop Mt. Hopkins, Arizona, designed to search for planets around mid-to-late M dwarfs, detect exomoons and exorings, and measure the variability properties of the smallest stars.
