Dian (Pipit) Triani
About
Pipit is an expert on modeling physics of galaxy formation and evolution. She is especially interested in the interaction between stars and the dust and metals in the interstellar medium. Pipit got her PhD from Swinburne University in Melbourne, with a thesis focused on a semi-analytic model with a detail dust treatment, investigating how dust alter the physical and spectral properties of galaxies. She spent a year as a postdoc at the Australian National University working on modeling the H2 region before joining CfA.
