About
Jea Adams is a graduate student in the Department of Astronomy at Harvard. Jea's research involves developing software to examine exoplanets and their atmospheres with both space-based and ground-based telescopes. Jea currently works with Dr. Mercedes Lopez-Morales on the feasibility of detecting oxygen on Earth-like planets with the ELTs (Extremely Large Telescopes), as well as detecting the atmospheres of exoplanets with JWST. Jea also studies methods for optimizing the direct detection of exoplanets.
B.S. in Physics and Astronomy, Amherst College (2021)
