In Madrid, he was involved with the Major Atmospheric Gamma Imaging Cherenkov (MAGIC) telescopes and the next-generation Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) project. His research interests include understanding the origin of cosmic rays using gamma-ray data from supernova remnants, pulsar wind nebulae, unidentified gamma-ray sources, and star-forming regions. He also performs hardware and software development activities for CTA. He was previously a post-doc at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center, Torun, Poland, working on pulsar physics. Dr. Saha is originally from India, and earned his PhD from the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, India.
