About
Fengwu Sun is a postdoc working on the study of galaxies and star formation in the distant Universe. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at the University of Arizona in 2023, and he is a member of the JWST/NIRCam instrument science team and JWST Advanced Deep Extragalactic Survey (JADES) team. His research focuses on obtaining spectroscopic census of star-forming galaxies in the early Universe with the powerful JWST/NIRCam wide-field slitless spectroscopic mode. He also has a variety of interests including gravitational lensing, submillimeter galaxies and high-redshift transients.
