About
I am an astronomer in the Optical and Infrared Astronomy Division at SAO. My research focuses on infrared surveys of different kinds. Until recently I worked mostly on extragalactic surveys with NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope, to better understand galaxy evolution over cosmic time. Currently I am a Co-Investigator with NASA's SPHEREx mission, and in that capacity, I will help search for biogenic compounds in the Milky Way. I am also Co-Director of NSF's Astrophysics REU program at the CfA.
PhD in Astronomy from Cornell University, 1995
