About
Judy Schmidt specializes in astronomical image processing near and far, with work spanning the solar system and local galaxy to the distant universe. She spends much of her time cleaning up cosmic rays and instrumental artifacts, along with blending and smoothing all sorts of data from various observatories. Some may call her an artist or a scientist, but oftentimes she simply feels like a galactic janitor.
